Backyard makeover

I want to enjoy this summer. Last year I hated it. I hated that Justin was on deployment and that he wasn't home with us. This year he's not deployed, but he will be on several underways. I wanted to make our backyard into an added living space. We got new patio furniture, a BBQ and we are getting a massive swing set for Landon.

I love this set! We even got the glider to go with it. It's so comfy! I'm excited to be able to take all of our cook-outs outside! Now it just needs to warm up alittle more.

My neighbor Mandy(Brandy) wanted to see a picture of the swing set we are getting. Here it is! It has a picnic table on the side and a sandbox underneath! We are going to switch it so that the slide is coming out the front so it will fit in our yard a little better.

I just found this one that I kind of like.....I just have to decide which one I like more.

where in HELL are you putting all that???? is your yard big enough for that massive thing???

i'd love to get that for roan, but it's way too expensive. i've had my eyes on something similar since we bought the house.

Lol. Yes our yard is big enough. We don't use it for anything so I thought it would be good to let landon take it over. The patio set will be on the patio landing and the swing set will take the back of the yard.

Oh my goodness! I was searching for other L.D.S. members serving in the Navy and I ran across you! I hope you don't mind. My husband is currently a reservist and is going active duty. His unit is very active. We have decided that he would acually have more family time if he went active duty. CRAZY HUH! I have so many questions and I was wondering if you would be open to any answers. we have 2 little ones. and are in idaho right now. this will be a big change for me. he is used to military life as he was brought up in a military home and he served in the Army before we were married. he is a new member of the church.I wonder how it will work being a mormon in the military and how many are there of us? anyway I hope i'm not a pain but, your family seems adorible and you seem to have a postive outlook on this crazy life. thanks janae Ambrose!

Dude, I don't know what the problem is here people. I think you could fit three of those in your yard, one for Landon, one for my kid, and one for Matt and Justin to share. (They'll always be kids at heart!) We'll sit on the patio furniture and relax in the sun!
