Happy Anniversary

To me!

Of course I'm sad that Justin isn't here, but he always does something amazing to help make it easier. I got the most amazing bouquet of lillies and the sweetest card thanking me for the best years of his life. He told me that he bought me a few things but couldn't find a post office in Israel, so they will be mailed home when he hits port again, and told me to get my self something (I found the most AMAZING picnic basket at an antique store......so I got it. It made me think of him and I will always remember when I got it)

Lets look back a little......

Justin and I met on a bus, on our way to play in Seattle with the band at state basketball(my freshman year, his sophomore). My cell phone was acting funny and he helped me fix it. We ended up writing back and forth on our phones for the next hour. We sat together the next three days, I couldn't go the last day due to a dance competition and I was soooo mad. At school the next Monday we found out we had gym at the same time, different teachers but the same time. He came up to me and told me that i owed him.

We talked at school for a week or so, then we started talking on the phone. One day while talking he said that I still owed him, I asked him what he wanted to which he replied "Just you". That was it. I was his, and I have been ever since.

We dated all of high school. We did the school events and the dances (this was my junior year, his senior) and spent all of our time together. He got me a promise ring this same year for Christmas and told me that one day he was going to marry me. And that he did. We were married the summer after I graduated.

My wedding was picture perfect. I'm a VERY laid back person, so my wedding was to. I never got stressed and I never got cold feet. I knew I was marrying the love of my life and I was over the moon excited. Walking down the aisle and seeing him changed my life. From that moment on, it was forever, and I never looked back.
We had our wedding at an old building in our town since our family's are of different religions, we knew we didn't want to get married in a church. But the hall we got married in was amazing. It was perfect and very "us". It was right next to the town museum, so that's where we did most of our pictures.
I love this picture. We are always joking around and having fun, our wedding was no different.
I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life, right next to meeting him and having Landon.

He's my soul mate and the love of my life. I would be lost without him. Even when he's thousands of miles away, he still knows how to keep me going. This deployment will end, and my love will come home. We will have many more days apart. While I'm sad that this is the third year in a row he's been out to sea. I wouldn't trade our lives for anything. Navy or not, I'm in this for good.

*Thank you Justin for the best years of my life. I would be lost without you. You are my soul mate, my best friend and the love of my life. I knew you were it the first time I saw you and I know you felt the same. I will be by your side for the rest of our lives and I will follow you wherever you will go. Be safe my love. Happy Anniversary.*

Happy Anniversary! This made me tear up a little. When you find the one... you know. It's that easy. Being recently engaged this makes my heart warm. I have been hearing so much "nay saying" about marriage since we got engaged... it's sad really. But I just know that we will be happy together. Thanks Kim.
