Deployment recap: Week 10!

Week 10: (I'm not going to put anything that has happened early this week, I will save it for next weeks)

Emotional: Good. I was getting ready for camping all week and it kept me VERY busy. Busy is good.

Physical:  Slowly working out more. When I get home I'm joining a gym!

Communication: Ok. A few e-mails here and there.

What's something fun you did this week: I had a little party with some friends from around here.  It was a kiddie party and the kids had a blast. It was so great to see everyone!

What are you looking forward to next week: Hanging out and relaxing! It's been a busy few days around here.

What made you happy this week: Landon learned how to ride a bike! He's never been on a two-wheeler, but while we've been here he's been riding one with training wheels. He asked mt dad if he could just take them off and he did! He's been riding without them ever since and is doing soo great!

What made you sad/mad this week: Landon learning to ride the bike. I'm sad Justin couldn't be here to teach him and getting the e-mail back after I told him made me a little sad. But, like he said, he can't be here for everything and what a great thing for my dad to be able to teach his grandson. It was a very special moments for my dad and I'm so glad J was ok with it.

What do you miss this week: Justin. I miss him being here and spending all this time with buddy. They miss each other so much.

How's Landon this week: Good. He's been outside more then he has been inside! He's almost done with swim lessons and is doing so well! He's doing so many new things this summer. It really is a summer we won't forget.

Pictures from this week:

Landon & Madi at the party. I just LOVE her, shes the cutest little girl I've ever seen.
Landon sleeping the other night. He put "Daddy" in his arms like that at some point after I tucked him in. It was so sweet and I admit.....made me a little teary.
Landon at swim lessons! He's doing so well! I'm so proud of him!
