Deployment Recap: Week 20!

Week 20:

Emotional: Good. I no longer have the dog. After he shredded the door-frame in my bathroom J and I decided that while we were being nice, it wasn't worth getting kicked out of housing.  I felt really bad, but it's for the best. I don't feel as stressed out anymore.

Physical: Doing alright. Not as good as I would like but I'm down 1-2 lbs every week. I just have a long way to go.

Communication: They were in Dubai and we got to talk a little. Not a lot. He had duty a few days and skype wasn't working too much, but we did get to talk which is always great!

What's something fun you did this week: Not much. I was home sick most of the week. Landon and I did go out to dinner together and it was really nice. I love spending one on one time with him. Now that he's in school I feel like we don't get as much, so we go out just the two of us quite often.

What are you looking forward to next week: I think we might go to an apple orchard around here. It's so much fun and I love taking Landon.

What made you happy this week: J sent me a few things. One hasn't gotten here yet, but the flowers he sent me did! They are so beautiful! I love lillies!

What made you sad/mad this week: Being frustrated on the phone with J. It wasn't his fault the dog was stressing me out so much, but all I did was cry the first time we talked. It wasn't how I wanted our conversation to go. But, he understood and was really great about it.

What do you miss this week: J holding me and just letting me cry when I'm upset.

How's Landon this week: Good. After last week, we needed a good one! He's been helpful and great.

Pictures from this week:

Flowers. For some odd reason I love cutting the ends off the flowers and arranging them in the vase. It's one of the best parts of getting flowers.

Burnt Orange Lillies and light orange roses. They are so beautiful!

It was a hard week.....I love him so much.

My sisters head stone was placed this week(It's about time).
This picture makes me sad. Those are her kids. They loved her so very much. I'm glad they got to be there when it was placed.

That is so sweet. I love lilies too and those are beautiful. Sorry to hear about that dog chewing up your house. Hope next week is better. When does he return? Is he on land or sea? Talk to ya next time. Have a good week this week.
