The past few years I have had a goal of reading 50 books by the New Year. Last year I hit 51 (thanks in large part to my best friend deployment). As of right now I'm on book 30 for this year! I hope to be at about 40 come end of summer! Wish me luck!
Anyone have any great book they recommend?
Oh. If you scroll down my blog, on the right side you will see the books I've read so far this year. I need to find last years list so I can put that up also.

I'm not sure what kind of books you like but you should check out an author named Stuart Woods. I love love love his books. They are fiction. I love his stone barrington series. They build on each other so if you check them out you want to start with the first one. They're on his site listed in order. www.stuartwoods.com
I just stumbled on your blog, but I love reading so i had to come up with a few. Let's see... I don't see the Time Traveler's Wife on there. The movie's coming out this summer, and the book is SO good. I saw Baby Proof on your list, not sure if you've read her Something Borrowed and Something Blue books, but they're a lot better. And since there's some pre-teen/kids books, my favorite series is the Betsy-Tacy series. Not very well known, but really good! That's all I can come up with on the top of my head, but I'm always posted reviews on my blogs, so you might pick up a few more ideas there
Thank you so much!
I'm going to get THe time travelers wife sometime this month to read on the plane when we go back home.
I have read something borrow and something blue. they were so much better then baby proof.
I think I need to put last years list up.
I like young adult books better sometimes, I don't like raunchy sex scenes and/or a lot of swearing.
I really liked "A girl named Zippy" and "Autobiography of a Fat Bride". I really wish I had more time to read!
