I've been holding out!

This summer I took an amazing trip to Forks, WA. If you missed it go HERE to read about it!

While we were there, we stayed in the "Cullen House". It was a beautiful B&B there in Forks and we had the most amazing time. I recommend staying there if you ever go.

In my post I told you to remember this picture. It was taken standing right outside our room at the B&B.

Did you wonder why I told you to remember it? Well, while we were there we got to see The Hillywood Show shooting their new parody for Eclipse! They just happened to be filming while we were there and they were using the same spot I'm standing in in the picture!

Since they were using the window to our room, we couldn't go inside and turn our lights on(and sitting in the dark is no fun) so they let us watch! They asked that I please not share any of the information until the video came out since they like the music to be a surprise and we were sitting there listening to them. I also got to meet their mom & dad who are two of the nicest people I've ever met.

Here is their latest video! The part in front of the window is at 7:30.

They were so nice and even came over and talked for a bit before they had to go. The videos and everything are done by the two sisters. One acts in everything while the other one is the one who is filming and edits it all!

It was so fun getting to watch them film and I'm glad we just happened to be there at the right time!

If you haven't seen their videos, go watch them. They're amazing!

Miller Tree Inn. Forks, WA.

I've never stayed at a bed & breakfast. I've always wanted to but was a little scared. Staying in someones home when you don't know them can be a little scary. I had seen on another blog that I read that they stayed here when they took a trip to Forks. So I figured it had to be good, and when they had nothing but good reviews online my fears subsided.

I made my reservation online a few weeks before we went and booked the "Ella Suite". They had one picture but I didn't really know what to expect. I did know that it was two rooms so we would all have enough space. I didn't know that it was going to be that amazing though.

My MIL room in our Suite. When someone isn't sleeping on it it turns into a couch and it's used at the living room.

Our private bathroom. It was huge and so great.

My momma & I's room. It was HUGE! We had a Tv, fridge, microwave and even a fireplace! The bed was more than big enough for us to share.

Those chairs were so comfy to sit and read in.

We watched twilight & new moon. haha.
Every room had the books (they let my mom and I walk around and peek in the rooms that didn't have guests)

We picked to be in Alice's room. Every room had the names of the Cullen's and you could pick who's room you stayed in. It was cute.

View out of our room.

Eggs Benedict! I'd never had it before and I have seriously been missing out. It was amazing. (Notice mine has no egg......since I don't eat them)

The graduation caps in the living room.

Me standing outside of our room. Remember this picture....

Me outside of the B&B.

This was the sign they had on the front porch. They update it every few days. I love how into the whole being the Cullen house they get. The town voted on what houses fit each description and they became part of the tour.

If you ever go to Forks I more than recommend the Miller Tree Inn. They were so nice and I felt so at home. I can't imagine staying anywhere better then that.

Girls trip. LaPush!

Some of J's family live over on the reservation in LaPush....right on first beach. So I asked my MIL if she would come along and show us around since she grew up over there. I've always been interested in J's side of the family and their heritage. I'm Scottish and very much so love the culture, he's the same about being Native American. I want to learn as much as I can so I can pass on both sides of our family to Landon. It was so neat getting to go over there and learn so much.

This first batch of pictures are from our tour the first night. We weren't really on the reservation since they don't like the tour buses going down there, but we were close enough.

The Treaty line. It's funny how much the town has changed and added to work with the Twilight hype.

This was right after the treaty line at a little store/cafe.

Jacob Black shake. Blackberry.....a-maz-ing!

Down at the beach. It was a dreary day...exactly the weather that got it it's spot in the books.

Me....I was a little cold.

After that we headed back to the B&B. Something amazing was there.....but I promised I wouldn't share any of the details until October...so it will have to wait. Michael.....keep your mouth shut. lol.

The next day we had breakfast (wow! It was good!) and headed out. We went down to LaPush and spent quite a few hours walking around and visiting with J's family. His moms cousins husband (follow that?) was the chief for a while then moved....now is being asked to be chief again. It was so different seeing how things work there. It's a little world within a world.

We walked around First Beach and all around the reservation (which isn't very big at all).

These are the pictures from that day.

Jacob?

Me at First Beach.

I LOVE little Indian babies! This is J's second cousin. (My MIL's cousins grand-daughter)

The sign coming into the reservation.

I did get a few neat Native American things. I got Landon and I both Ghost Bead bracelets. I do have to say that Landon has not had one bad dream since I bought him his. He was having bad dreams almost every night.

Girls Trip! Forks, WA.

I like Twilight. I'm not a super obsessed fan, but I loved the books and the movies are pretty good. While I was here I knew I wanted to take a trip out to Forks just to do it. And say I've done it. I wanted to do it right. I wanted to stay in a B&B and I wanted to do the Twilight tour. So we did.

Sunday morning my momma, my MIL and I all got in the car and headed over. We knew it was going to take us at least 5 hours to get there so we packed everything we would need. We had blankets, pillows, snacks, books and music.

The best part of the drive were the ferry ride and the view on the peninsula. It's so beautiful out there. Everything is so green.

My momma & I on the ferry.
In the car driving. It was a little chilly, but the air smelt so good I couldn't keep my window up.

We got to Forks at about 4 in the afternoon. Our B&B was the most amazing place I have ever stayed (A post for a different day...maybe tomorrow. Too many pictures to add on here.). We got settled in our suite and headed out for our tour.

We started right in town and took off to see all of the sites. Here are most of the sites we stopped at.

Charlies car. (You can see our B&B in the background. lol)
Bella's truck.
Hospital where Dr. Cullen works.
The Cullen house how it was described in the book not the movie. (This was our B&B)
The Swan's house.
The Black's house.
The High Schools sign.

We also went over to the LaPush side, but I will put those picture in a different post also. I took quite a few and this post is long enough already. lol.
