Justin left for boot camp Oct 05'. It was my first time being a single (yet married) mom. Landon was so little and I was so scared to do it all by myself. Justin had never been away from us...EVER. But here I sit 3 years later, my husband on deployment and I'm doing just fine. I miss him more then anything in the world, but I can do this. I was lucky enough to go to boot camp graduation and see my new sailor, so proud of himself in that nice little uniform. My header picture was taken outside of our hotel (you got to love Chicago in December!). Its was our first picture as a Navy Familyand still to this day one of my all time favorite pictures. Justin ended up being stuck at boot camp for 4 months after that picture was taken. He had to have surgery and due to some flooding it took months to get it done. He was lucky enough to come home for Landon's First Christmas and even his first Birthday.
3 years later we have lived at three different duty stations. We made our drive from Washington State to South Carolina. A year Later we Moved to New York and now we are in Connecticut. I have come to realize that no matter how long Justin is gone or what state we live in, home is where our hearts are. I don't care where I live as long as its with him. But after being together for 7 years this is by far the longest I have ever had to be away from him, and even though I hate it, I know I can do it and I will continue to do it for the rest of his career.
Man I miss that kid.

Holy Crap! Where have I been?? You have a gone blog crazy! So first and foremost, it looks like you're doing much better! This is not an easy thing to go through, but I'm glad we have each other to lean on and cry with! I hope the next couple months go by quickly, and that before you can say "Sheenie McDoogle Doggin", Justin will be home! Stay strong, because you're the strongest person I know. And remember, you're MY East coast home away from home! I love you like a fat kid loves chocolate! "You Know Why!"
